Why do senior citizens always cover their windows on the front door? And why did UP choose paper with angels on it?

Lisa Marie Stevens: I'm just a girl who is blessed enough to have found my passion in photography. And since then I have put my heart into exploring this medium. Coming into photography at about the same time as the industry’s move into the digital process, I have gravitated toward this medium immediately. I enjoy the control I have over my own work in the digital darkroom. The process of taking an image from the camera to paper is intoxicating. Lisa's true passion in photography is of a documentary nature. She loves to capture the personalities of people and places through the process of photographing their surroundings and personal belongings. A few photographers whom have interested and influenced her work are Ernst Haas, William Eggelston, Minor White and Eugene Atget. Lisa works with an original focus in documentary photography, travel, fine art and everyday life. Lisa's photos have earned her a scholarship from the Prairie State Foundation, and the Photographer of The Year award from Prairie State College at which her work was featured in the Prairie State Student Art Show -2006.
